Games and Apps

Starting with Pet Rock in 2013, the Explorasaurus team has released several games for PC and mobile platforms. Their first big project was PeriAreion, a base building RTS game about settling on Mars. To date their most successful studio project has been Guinea Pig Bridge! at almost 1 million downloads. Currently the team is continuing development on new titles with the original goal of promoting science!

Web and Embedded Content

Many of Explorasaurus games have been specifically targeted to WebGL deployment for custom learning platforms and websites. In 2016 the team produced a suite of educational apps– Digestomatic! and Missing Links— for the Legends of Learning platform.  More recently, they flexed their writing chops by releasing a novella length interactive fiction, Ulterior Spirits.

Rendering, Trade shows, and Simulations

On top of their games, Explorasaurus has been involved in the development of several serious applications and rendering projects for big name clients, such as NASA, IBM, and Landscape Structures. The team has also been involved in a number of interactives developed specifically for trade shows using custom hardware.

Virtual Reality Development

Since their first foray into VR back in 2016, Explorasaurus has been working with a variety of clients on VR applications for both education and games. Their games have included a suite of VR apps for the Kennedy Space Center. In education, the team has used VR as a future tool to help archeology students explore the ancient past.
